Petra Justenhoven is Head of Assurance for PwC Germany and PwC Europe. In addition, she is member of the Global Assurance Leadership Team and member of the German Executive Board since 2013. Before taking on her current role as Assurance Leader in 2015, she was appointed as Markets Leader Germany in 2013, the first woman ever to be appointed to the German PwC Executive Board.
Justenhoven holds a German and French Diploma in economics and additionally a Diploma in finance and accounting. After graduation she joined PwC in the area of assurance and assurance related services in 1992. After four years she became a Certified Tax Advisor and in 2000 a Chartered Public Accountant. In 2007 she was appointed as Partner and merely three years afterwards became Assurance Office Managing Partner in Munich.
She serves national and international clients in various industries (automotive, media & entertainment and industrial production) in assurance and assurance related services. Moreover, she is responsible for the development of sector specific and innovative solutions within the context of digitalization, industry 4.0. and big data.
Additionally, Justenhoven is an appointed member of the federal board of the German Economic Council.
