Director of International Business, OAO GAZPROM

Stanislav Tsygankov specialized in finance and credit at the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics. After graduation, Mr. Tsygankov began his career in joint-stock investment and commercial production and bank construction at the Promstroybank of Russia. In 1996, he assumed the position of deputy chairman at the State Investment Corporation (Gosinkor), acting as the head of the department of finance and credit operations. One year later, he became the deputy chairman of the bank’s management committee.

In 1999, Mr. Tsygankov was elected First Deputy Minister of Finance for the Moscow region. He was appointed deputy chairman of the State Investment Corporation in 2000, and in 2001, he became senior vice president of Guta Bank. On June 20, 2001, Mr. Tsygankov was nominated Deputy Director of the Finance Department of the Chukotka autonomous region.

In February 2002, Mr. Tsygankov was named the head of the Foreign Relations Department at JSC “Gazprom.” Since October 2005, he has been the head of the International Business Department at Gazprom.
