Professor for Management Science (Heinz-Nixdorf Chair) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Franz Hubert studied Political Science and Economics at Freie Universität Berlin, where he also obtained his Doctoral Degree. He had academic positions at Freie Universität and Technische Universität before he joined Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During 2000-2005 he was on leave at State University – Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

His research interests cover industrial organization, real estate, corporate finance and investment. Recently he worked on reform of power industries and strategic investment in international pipeline networks.
